@alexman - There's a switch outside, on the right side of the balcony in that section (look up).

I have another question: how do i open the gate in the duri forest? the one in the dungeon, not the one to open it. it has a switch in the other side but i canĀ“t reach it

Where is the moonstone and heart ruby in the Ouri Forest,Forgotten Forest and Ancient Cratter???

Hey i want to know where fran is because i never found her in the beginning and now when i go to her lab they keep asking about her and i cant find her in atai.

so guys how do you find all the items in the game like the jet boots etc

@ultimatails - you have to save her. she's trapped under boulders on the bridge, so when you get the bombs, blow shit up.
@brian - everything will come in due time. seriously. but the jet boots are in mul caverns. you just gotta make sure you explore everywhere.

@hao - I've written a guide, check the link at the bottom.

@alexman - (Sorry for the late reply, but you probably figured it out by now, but I'll just leave an answer anyway.) Just grab the metal crate and jump back up and then drop the crate on the switch (the one that creates two bridges over the part with a few slimes, that switch also activates the switch on the far left.

Alright, I've updated the guide with a bunch of other stuff, so there should only be questions about puzzles, as for other stuff, my guide and the FAQ Quells wrote above as well as anything else in this thread those the guide/FAQ doesn't cover should cover almost everything. (Big thanks for anyone who posted as I wouldn't have figured some of these stuff out myself). Hopefully this guide will be useful for any of those still playing the game or any new comers who wants to play the original when the sequel comes out. The guide does include a table of contents, so if you click on it, it should bring you to that section quickly.

Is there anybody that wants the power potion?

@dominic - No, I haven't found anybody who wants the power potion. (Not that I tried giving it to anyone, I don't recall anyone wanting a boost or power.)

I'm missing a Heart Ruby and Moon Stone in Duri Forest. Anybody have a guide?

Spotted a tiny little typo: on the last screen of dialogue by the old man with the noise in his cellar (when he gives you the LB), there's a missing space. (IIRC, it reads "afterall" instead of "after all," but it's been a few minutes since I spotted it. The game's too good to stop playing just because I noticed a typo!)

Thanks!

I know this isn't really a bug/typo thread, but there's also another typo, in the status screen, the description for the lamp says electric in a row two times. Oh and the power potion's description is a little misleading since only ground attacks with the bat/hammer/mace are charged. (Can we get a main menu button? I know it isn't too typical in the Zelda games, (at least not without saving,) but it'd be nice to get one.)

@dominic - I'm not sure if you're joking but the guide I wrote is more of a completion guide, so it does include a guide for the heart rubies and moon stones (as well as items/gear and how to get each medal plus other stuff).

(Forgot one more typo, Hachi the bee researcher says "an moisturizer instead of "a moisturizer".) Quells (or anyone else who's going for that medal), do you have any tips on how to beat the game in 64 minutes?

Thanks for pointing out those typos. I will address them in the next update :)

Feel free to PM me if you find any more. It's more likely to reach me if it's through PM.

PS. I've added a speed runner medal section to the FAQ

anyone have a full list of all the places you can sleep? and is the father and son in the inn a non-quest?

@morbid - It is in my guide and there is also a list in this thread in the previous comments, either in my medal section guide or page two of this thread. (One in Panselo, Atai, Daea, Sunflower Rd, Adar's House, Crossroads, Prince Tower, Hidden Village, and two in Misty Gorge.)

I'm having a little problem here. I was offline the entire game (during my search of moonstones and hearts) And when I logged in I realized that I have the 99 health medal and the number 42 one but it looks like the other medals aren't there and I can't find a way to obtain them apart of start a new game (I was reading the comments and I think the medals appear again if you find another moonstone or heart but I already have all of them so I don't know if there's another way of doing this)
It's strange that the game detects those 2 medals but doesn't detect the ones that came before, is someone having the same problem?

That's a bug. I'll get this fixed in the next update :)

Feel free to PM me since I always see those.

How do I get the Last Song of Earth medal?

@dominic First you have to pass through the forgotten forest and unlock the hidden village. There at the end of the village you'll find Gill and Floe (the other two explorers that helped Fran with the moonstones) and if you talk with Gill you'll unlock a new place called ???? which is south of the village in the map. In that new area you have to climb the mountain using your javelin and the artifact to see the hidden blocks.
I don't remember but I think Gill and Floe doesn't appear until you get all the 42 moonstones and some people is having trouble finding Gill which seems to be solved by buying the blood ring in Hidden Village shop.
Hope this helps you and... I recommend you to check this guide that nggrounds made, he did a fantastic job and I think it will help you to solve your questions:

@dominic I forgot to mention that you need to have the rest of the equipment to see Gill but the last item you'll need is the blood ring, (This is the "last item" cause the others are in previous areas) I assumed that you have the others. I already had this stuff when I first talked with Gill at the village so I'm not 100% sure of this but probably you'll need to have the 99 health too.

can anybody tell me what to do with the Mikan fruit please?
